Hallowed Thoughts

Hallowed Thoughts began with a backyard worship night on All Hallows' Eve — the old vigil before All Saints' Day — built around a single idea: that the God who knows every name also sends his people to the lost.

Known by name. Sent to the lost.

What started as cards strung together for one evening grew into something people asked to keep: the stories of believers across twenty centuries, the famous and the forgotten, and the ones remembered now by God alone. This is a place to hold those stories, and to write — slowly, and without noise — about worship, Scripture, and the long memory of the church.

The word hallow simply means holy. These are hallowed thoughts in both senses: thoughts about holy things, and thoughts offered up as an act of worship.

Everything here is free to read and use. The vigil resources are yours to download and adapt for your own gathering. If they serve one more person to remember that their name is written in heaven, they've done their work.
